Safeguarding Lead

The named person any concern can be brought to, by anyone, at any time. Owns the policy, the training, and the response when something is wrong.
Programme Lead

Turns the three proposed initiatives into daily practice — staffing, routines, partnerships, and the ordinary rhythms that make a place feel safe.
Learning Coordinator

Books, art, curiosity, and patient encouragement. Works with schools and libraries so that learning continues outside the classroom.
Community & Partnerships

Builds the wider circle — local organisations, volunteers, and the neighbours who make belonging something a child can actually feel.
Volunteer Coordinator

Recruits, screens, trains, and supports volunteers, and makes sure nobody works with children before they are ready to.

A governing board that is genuinely separate from day-to-day management, with the standing to ask uncomfortable questions and the authority to act on the answers.

A named safeguarding lead, a published route for raising a concern, and a response that does not depend on who is asking or who is involved.

Reporting people can read
Plain accounts of what was done, what it cost, and what did not work — published on a predictable schedule rather than only when the news is good.
