EVERY CHILD MATTERS EVERY CHILD BELONGS
Stories & updates

Small moments,
written down.

A journal of what this work actually looks like — the progress, the practice, and the parts that are harder than they sound.

The journal hasn’t started

Nothing has been published here yet. The entries below are the first pieces we intend to write, shown so you can see what this section is for. They are placeholders, not articles.

How a room becomes a place to be

What actually makes a shared space feel safe to a child who has just arrived — the furniture, the routines, the first hour, and the things adults get wrong without noticing.

Why we start with listening

A closer look at the first of our mission commitments: what it means in practice to respect a child’s privacy, individuality, and story, and where good intentions usually fail.

What we have confirmed, and what we haven’t

An honest running account of where the Foundation stands — what has been registered, funded, staffed, and started, and what is still only an intention.

Our editorial rule

Whose story
is it to tell?

A child’s life is not marketing material. These limits apply to everything published here, and they are not negotiable for a good photograph or a moving paragraph.

01

No identifying details of any child.

No names, faces, schools, locations, or circumstances specific enough to identify a child in the Foundation’s care — including in combination across separate entries.

02

No photographs of children in our care.

Every image on this site is illustrative stock or generated imagery. That will remain true even once programmes are running.

03

Consent is asked, and can be withdrawn.

Where an adult chooses to share their own experience, they are told where it will appear, and they can have it removed later without giving a reason.

04

We will say when something went wrong.

Progress reporting that only records successes is not reporting. Setbacks belong here too.
